Thailand's Supamas Sangchan leads the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters

The world No 238 birdied four of the first six holes on her inward nine and ended the day with a one shot lead

Thailand's Supamas Sangchan leads the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters after the first round, going round the Emirates Golf Club in a five-under-par 67 on Wednesday.

The world No 238 birdied four of the first six holes on her inward nine and ended the day with a one shot lead over Scotland's Kelsey MacDonald, Nanna Koerstz Madsen of Denmark, Finns Minea Blomqvist and Noora Tamminen - who had a hole-in-one at the 140-yard 11th - and Australia's Celina Yuan.

England's Charley Hull, the world No 28, is three off the lead, recovering from one over after 12 with three birdies in the closing six holes.
