DUBAI // Peter Richardson, the English golfer, remains the man to beat at the Sheikh Maktoum Dubai Open after a round of 68 took him to 10-under for the tournament.
Fellow countryman Dale Marmion is his closest challenge on the leaderboard after a second successive 68 puts him two shots back at eight-under, heading into tomorrow's final round.
The low scoring was particularly impressive with a strong winds blowing all over the Al Badia course at Dubai Festival City.
Winning here or at next week's Mena Tour finale in Al Ain will earn Richardson one of the four spots to play the Dubai Desert Classic in February next year.
"I just want to relax and try to forget what is in line for me here if I win," said Richardson who led overnight after carding a 66 in the first round.
