Joachim Loew's injury worries mounted yesterday as Heiko Westermann, the defender, was ruled out of Germany's World Cup campaign because of a foot injury. Loew, the Germany coach, has now lost five of his original squad, including Michael Ballack, his captain, to injury. Westermann, 26, who plays for the Bundesliga side Schalke, broke a bone in his left foot late in Saturday's 3-0 warm-up win over Hungary in Budapest.
