Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaves training with Hammarby to fuel talk of summer move - in pictures
Swedish striker is reportedly set to leave AC Milan at the end of his six month contract
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was pictured on Thursday leaving a training session with Hammarby, the Swedish club he part owns, sparking rumours he could make a return to his homeland when his AC Milan contract expires at the end of the season.
Reports in Italy claim Ibrahimovic has opted not to extend his second spell with AC Milan beyond the end of the six-month deal he signed in December.
Meanwhile, Hammarby president Richard Von Yxkull refused to get drawn in to the speculation and said any possibility of Ibrahimovic turning out for the Swedish side would depend on the striker himself.
"It's about knowing how Zlatan sees his future and what he wants to do," Von Yxkull told newspaper Dagens Nyheter.
However, it appears Ibrahimovic has decided to keep sharp during the coronavirus lockdown by training with the club he bought a 23.5 per cent stake in last November.
Measures to fight the outbreak in Sweden are lighter than in most other countries, while Italy has been one of the worst-hit countries.
All football in Italy has been suspended due to the coronavirus which has claimed the lives of nearly 18,000 people in the country.
Ibrahimovic started his career with hometown club Malmo before trophy-laden spells with some of the world's biggest outfits including Juventus, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain before re-joining Milan in January.
