What is it?

The draw for the Uefa Champions League quarter-finals will decide which of the eight remaining teams in the tournament face each other. The draw for the semi-finals and final will also be made.

There are no seedings or country restrictions, meaning teams from the same country can now be drawn against each other for the first time in the tournament.

When and where is it?

The draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland at Uefa's headquarters on Friday, March 15 at 3pm UAE time (+4 GMT).

Which teams are left in the draw?

Ajax, Barcelona, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Porto, and Tottenham Hotspur

How to watch the draw

Uefa will broadcast the draw live on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Any subplots to look out for?

There are plenty of potential subplots that could unfold based on the draw. If Barcelona and Juventus are drawn against each other, it will pit great rivals Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo against each other.

A Manchester City v Liverpool quarter-final will see the Premier League's two title contenders do battle, while Liverpool v Manchester United would see one of England's biggest rivalries played out on the European stage.

Former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola could return to the Camp Nou if Manchester City are drawn against the Spanish champions.

Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong could come up against future employers Barca, fresh from helping the Dutch side eliminate Barca's biggest rivals Real Madrid from the last-16.
