WATCH: Lionel Messi trains with Argentina ahead of last-16 World Cup clash with France

Argentina held their last training session in their Bronnitsy base camp on Friday before heading to Kazan for their World Cup last-16 match against France.

Jorge Samapaoli's men will look to secure a decisive victory to avoid becoming the first of the last-16 teams to be eliminated.

Captain and talisman Lionel Messi, who sat out training on Wednesday's training session following his exploits in Argentina's last-gasp 2-1 victory over Nigeria that ensured qualification from Group D, took part in several drills.

France, who topped Group C with seven points following wins over Australia, Peru and then picking up a point against Denmark, have largely underwhelmed in Russia, but boast an array of world-class attacking talent in Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele.
