Real Madrid closing in on a deal to sign Chelsea's Eden Hazard in 'coming days'
Move, which would happen at the end of the season, would cost the European champions around €100 million
Real Madrid are set to finalise a move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard in the "coming days" according to reports in the Spanish Media.
Marca reported on Friday night that the European champions have found an agreement with the Premier League club for the Belgian, with a fee of €100 million (Dh412.1m) being banded around as the price for the move that would happen at the end of the season and see the 28 year old in Spain for the 2019/20 campaign.
Real manager Zinedine Zidane had enthused over Hazard on Friday. Talking during a news conference he said: "He's a player I have always appreciated. He is fantastic.
"I will not give my personal opinion about what may happen because the season has not ended.
"He has played in France, I have watched him a lot and I know him personally."
Hazard has been with Chelsea since 2012 and has won the Premier League twice with the club as well as helping take Belgium to the World Cup semi-finals last summer in Russia.
Hazard is next in action on Monday as Chelsea play host to West Ham United, while Real are up against Eibar on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off at 6.15pm UAE time.
