Liverpool trio Andrew Robertson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mohamed Salah make the team of the week after helping to inflict a first Premier League defeat of the season on Manchester City on Sunday.

With questions surrounding how Jurgen Klopp's side would cope without the influence of Philippe Coutinho a week after the Brazilian playmaker moved to Barcelona the German's remaining players answered in emphatic fashion before holding on for a 4-3 win against the runaway leaders at Anfield.

Oxlade-Chamberlain opened the scoring before Salah capped it by capitalising on a poor clearance by City goalkeeper Ederson for Liverpool's fourth.

Son Hueng-min's man-of-the-match display against Everton saw the South Korean winger bag a double in Tottenham's 4-0 rout at Wembley, while Marko Arnautovic was a class apart in the demolition of Huddersfield Town. The Austrian scored one goal, played a part in three more and brought craft and graft to West Ham United's forward line.
