The Palestine national team touched down in Dubai on Wednesday night ahead of the 2019 Asian Cup.

The Palestinian Mission UK tweeted a video of the players being greeted by fans as they made their way through the arrivals gate at Dubai International Airport.

Noureddine Ould Ali's side kick off their Asian Cup campaign on Sunday against Syria in Sharjah before facing Asian champions Australia five days later in Dubai.

They conclude their Group B assignments against Jordan in Abu Dhabi on January 15.

Palestine, ranked 99th in the Fifa world rankings, have only made one previous appearance at the quadrennial tournament in Australia four years ago.
