Teenage striker features prominently on posters for new kit as Ligue 1 champions prepare to fend off bids.
Monaco express stance over Kylian Mbappe amid Real Madrid and PSG interest
Kylian Mbappe is one of the most in-demand footballers in Europe following an astounding breakthrough season for Monaco.
A scorer of 15 league goals as Monaco won their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years, six goals in the Uefa Champions League to help his side to the semi-finals, and earning two caps for the France national side at the age of 18, there is little wonder the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are keen to sign Mbappe.
While there is nothing yet official in terms of transfer bids, Monaco are expected to receive offers in excess of €100 million (Dh419m) for the teenager, and while the French champions have insisted they will resist any bids, their resolve is expected to be tested throughout the summer.
However, Monaco have offered their strongest indication yet that Mbappe will remain a part of their plans, for next season at least, with the striker appearing front and centre of the posters for their new kit launch.
Of course, this is not evidence of Mbappe certainly staying and it wouldn't be the first time a player has been paraded in club gear before moving on. Remember Gareth Bale as the poster boy for NBC's Premier League coverage only to move to Real Madrid weeks later?
What it does show though is Monaco's stance. It is clear, and quite understandably, that Monaco are determined to have Mbappe as a central part of their team. And not just on the posters.
