Georginio Wijnaldum has become the third Liverpool player to find his way to Dubai ahead of his team's preparations for next month's Uefa Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
Wijnaldum posted a picture of himself on social media wearing the traditional kandura with a line saying: "Good times in #Dubai."
Wijnaldum, who scored twice in Liverpool's come-from-behind semi-final victory against Barcelona at Anfield just days ago, has been an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's squad this season. The Reds narrowly missed out on winning the Premier League title for a second season in a row to Manchester City, and the 28-year-old midfielder said his team deserve a trophy a cap off a "wonderful" season.
"Overall, I think we had a good season and now is the challenge to finish with a title to make the season complete," Wijnaldum told Liverpoolfc.com. "It would be really sad if we finish the season without a title, especially because I think we were quite consistent this season and we did so good. I think this season deserves one."
Virgil van Dijk was earlier spotted in Dubai, having posed for a picture with sports business consultant Saif Rubie who posted it on his Twitter page.
Like Wijnaldum, the Dutchman also enjoyed a successful season and was last month named as England's PFA Player of the Year for 2019, seeing off competition from City striker Raheem Sterling.
And on Thursday, Egyptian superstar forward Mohamed Salah posted an image on his social media accounts showing him on a boat off the Dubai coast.
