Mohamed Salah has been pictured in a protective boot during an Egypt training session, raising fears over his fitness for Liverpool's Premier League campaign.
Salah has already been ruled out of Egypt's African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Kenya and Comoros with his ankle injury, which he has been carrying since early October.

The Egyptian FA released a statement on their official Twitter account confirming Salah will miss the games, along with a picture of the striker with a protective boot on his left ankle.
The 27-year-old has been regularly draining fluid from his ankle since being caught by Hamza Choudhury during Liverpool's 2-1 win over Leicester on October 5.
The winger worked on a personal programme leading up to last Sunday’s Premier League game against Manchester City at Anfield.
Liverpool won the top-of-the-table clash 3-1, with Salah scoring the second Liverpool goal, but took another hit on his ankle in a challenge from Fernandinho.
Premier League football is on a two-week break for the international fixtures, and Liverpool don't play again until their trip to Crystal Palace on November 23.
Their win against City openend a nine-point gap on the Premier Lague champions, with Leicester and Chelsea eight points behind in second and third positions.
But Liverpool will be desperate to have their star striker in top form as they face a huge amount of fixtures in the run-up to Christmas, with action in the Premier League, the Champions League, the League Cup, and the Club World Cup in Qatar.
