Manchester United set to complete deal for Romelu Lukaku - reports
Belgian set for Old Trafford after a fee of £75 million reportedly agreed with Everton.
Romelu Lukaku is set to depart Everton for a move to Manchester United.
United are reported by English media, including the BBC, to have agreed a fee of £75 million (Dh356.2m) to bolster their attacking line-up as they bid to win the Premier League for the first time since 2013.
Lukaku had joined Everton from Chelsea in 2015 for £28m after a successful season on loan and he scored 87 goals for the Merseyside team in 166 games.
Lukaku is effectively a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic upfront for United, and he will be reunited with Jose Mourinho, who managed him at Chelsea, and was also the man who sanctioned the deal to sell him to Everton.
The news come amid speculation that Wayne Rooney is set to depart United to return to Everton, the club with who he began his career.
