Two players each wearing Manchester United and Newcastle United colours made Richard Jolly's Premier League team of the week this week.
This has not been the best season in the careers of either Manchester United player Paul Pogba or Alexis Sanchez, but both of them stepped up against the enemy - Manchester City - in their home at Etihad Stadium to deny them an early league title win. United, who have been unable to match their "noisy neighbours" in quality and outcomes all season, ensured with their 3-2 win that City wait another week before they rest assured the trophy is in their hands.
Meanwhile, the other United - Newcastle - beat Leicester City 2-1 thanks in large part to superb efforts from Florian Lejeune and Jonjo Shelvey.
