Premier League players have been enjoying the first ever winter break over the past week, with many stars jetting off to warm destinations to escape the English cold.
There are few better places to enjoy warm winter weather than the UAE, so it should come as no surprise that Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and his wife, Sofia Calzetti, have been using the break to visit Abu Dhabi.
Calzetti has been busy uploading the couple's adventures in the capital, including a tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and a trip to Yas Island, where they visited Ferrari World and Aguero raced a car around the Yas Marina Circuit.
Aguero has close ties to Abu Dhabi due to the City Football Group's ownership of Manchester City, where the Argentine has played since 2011, during which time he has become the club's all-time leading goalscorer and won four Premier League titles.
Aguero's visit to Abu Dhabi coincides with Arsenal's camp in Dubai, the Gunners using the break to combine training, team bonding, and relaxation before the league season resumes this weekend.
City are not in action until February 22 after their most recent league game against West Ham United was postponed due to storms. Arsenal take on Newcastle United on Sunday.
