Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not pleased. Luke Shaw definitely was not. But even though he was privately told off for leaking it, Romelu Lukaku will feel it was job done over Manchester United's sprint session results.
The Belgian striker posted on social media the results of the session, which showed just how fast United's players are and who can generate the highest speed.
Lukaku, who has been linked with a move away from the club this summer was second fastest, with a speed of 36.25 kilometres per hour and in his post with the stats he included the words "lack of pace".
He was only beaten by Diogo Dalot, while at the other end Luke Shaw was slowest.
Shaw, whose fitness has often been in question at United, particularly under previous manager Jose Mourinho was not pleased to have the speeds revealed as he claimed he had not been told to go full throttle.
The England left-back retorted on social media to Lukaku: "They only wanted me to go 70% don’t let me start speaking on you boy."
Solskjaer himself said he had spoken privately with Lukaku, who has since removed the post, and said: "I've spoken to Rom, that's case closed."
