In pictures: Manchester United training ahead of their Europa League clash with Club Brugge

Solskjaer's side travel to Belgium for their round-of-32 first leg on Thursday

Manchester United are back in Europa League action this week as they face Club Brugge in Belgium.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad trained at their Carrington base on Wednesday before their flight over to Belgium.

United striker Mason Greenwood was not part of the group but midfielder Scott McTominay, who has not played since suffering a knee injury on Boxing Day, took part in the open session.

Odion Ighalo, Axel Tuanzebe and Victor Lindelof were also present, even though the latter missed Monday's win over Chelsea through illness.

United won that match 2-0 at Stamford Bridge courtesy of goals from Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire, a result that Londoners.

Club Brugge also won their last league match when they defeated Waasland-Beveren 2-1 at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Saturday, thanks to an injury-time winner from Mats Rits – his second goal of the game.

They currently sit top of the Jupiler Pro League, nine points ahead of second-placed Gent
