So it's over. After 44 games unbeaten, Liverpool are finally conquered, and by Watford of all teams.
Liverpool will still be champions as they enjoy a 22 point lead, but Watford's future is very uncertain. The incredible 3-0 win lifted them out of the relegation zone, but only on goal difference. It will be a tense final ten games for Nigel Pearson's team.
Elsewhere, there was a dramatic win for Wolves at Tottenham, and the Midlands side now have a realistic chance of sneaking into the Champions League places.
Manchester City claimed their third League Cup trophy in succession with the win over Aston Villa. Their attention now turns to the Chamnpions League after the amazing win at Real Madrid.
