The third round of Premier League fixtures offered plenty to ponder ahead of the two-week break for international football.

Arsenal's humiliating defeat to Liverpool on Sunday stole most of the headlines as the pressure on manager Arsene Wenger continues to build.

Chelsea produced an accomplished display to defeat Everton at Stamford Bridge to offer a reminder of their title credentials, while Manchester City were late winners at Bournemouth in late, dramatic style.
