It was a drama-filled weekend in the Premier League as the season moves closer to its conclusion.
Manchester City kicked off the weekend by gaining a measure of revenge on Tottenham Hotspur for their Uefa Champions League elimination - a 1-0 win at the Etihad Stadium returned the defending champions to the top of the table.
Fulham then collected their first away win of the season at stuttering Bournemouth, while Watford extended their good form with victory at Huddersfield Town.
West Ham United and Leicester City shared a 2-2 draw at the London Stadium, as Brighton & Hove Albion held on for a precious point after a goalless draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Newcastle United then defeated Southampton in Saturday's late game to secure their top-flight status.
On Sunday, Everton produced the performance of the weekend to thrash Manchester United at Goodison Park, before Liverpool defeated Cardiff City to reclaim top spot. At the same time, Arsenal's top-four hopes suffered a setback with a home defeat against Crystal Palace.
