Chelsea moved top of the Premier League, at least for two hours, after winning 3-0 on Sunday at Southampton.
The success, thanks to goals from Eden Hazard, Ross Barkley and Alvaro Morata moved them one point clear of Liverpool and Manchester City, who face each other in Sunday's late game at 7.30pm UAE time.
Hazard opened the scoring on the half-hour mark of a game that Maurizio Sarri's side dominated.
He was set up by Barkley to finish from close range, and the Englishman then took centre stage in the second half as he scored 12 minutes after the restart as he bundled the ball home from Olivier Giroud's volley.
Morata then added a third in stoppage time to cap a fine day at the office for Chelsea.
Sarri is still yet to experience defeat in the Premier League as his side have won six of their eight games, and drawn the other two.
Southampton remain fifth bottom with five points from eight games.
