DUBAI // The Chinese diver Lin Yue continued his dominance of the 10m platform competitions at the 2013 Fina Diving World Series, taking his tally to four gold medals from four events, but he reckons he still has a lot of work to do ahead of July's World Championships in Barcelona.

The winner of the men's 10m platform individual and synchronised gold medals in the opening leg of the World Series in Beijing last week, Lin grabbed his second consecutive double when he took the 10m platform gold yesterday, ahead of his synchronised partner Chen Aisen.

"The competition is very difficult, but I have a lot of experience so it is not very difficult for me," said Lin, who already has two World Championships and one Olympic gold medal in the 10m synchronised platform.

"I am satisfied with my performance in the World Series so far, but I believe there is still a lot of room for me to improve. There is plenty of work to do before Barcelona and I hope I can improve on my performances … I have two World Championship gold medals, so hopefully I can get my third this time."

Lin is not too worried about the fast-improving Russian and Ukrainians, and said: "I am just focused on my own performance and if I can produce the kind of performances I know I am capable of, I have nothing to fear."

Earlier yesterday, Chen Roulin also completed a double in the women's 10m platform by adding the individual crown to the synchronised gold she won on Thursday.

Roulin, a two-time Olympic champion, took the gold with 403.85 points and was followed by Canada's Meaghan Benfeito (381.90) and Yulia Koltunova (371.05) of Russia on the podium.
