FA forms new committee to take over the erstwhile Pro League
A five-man committee that will manage the new UAE professional football league will be chaired by Saeed Abdul Ghaffar, vice-chairman of the UAE Football Association, it was announced today.
He has been joined by Abdulla Al Junaibi, who will act as vice chairman, and Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, both of whom have worked with the league in its former format.
And the committee will be made up of Khaled Abdulkarim and Khaled Mohammed Abdullah who is currently acting secretary general of the UAE FA.
The UAE Pro League was dissolved yesterday in a shock move by the Government who turned over all power to the FA.
