9th. Daniel Ricciardo, 43 points
The Red Bull Racing driver first made his debut in Abu Dhabi in 2011. His best result is fourth in 2014, which due to it being the double points race, was worth 24 points rather then 12. AFP
8th. Valtteri Bottas, 55 points. The Finn became only the fifth driver to win in Abu Dhabi in 2017 when he triumphed in his Mercedes-GP car. Was also third for Williams in 2014. AFP
7th: Fernando Alonso. 59 points. Second places in 2011 and 2012 were the high points in Abu Dhabi for the double world champion, although missing out on the 2010 title at Yas Marina Circuit remains a painful memory for the Spaniard. AFP
6th. Kimi Raikkonen, 62 points. The Finn's 2012 victory remains one of the most popular wins in F1 in recent times. Also finished on the podium in 2015 with Ferrari. AFP Photo
5th. Felipe Massa, 64 points. The now retired Brazilian only finished on the podium once at Abu Dhabi in 2014. But, as that was the double points year, his 36-point haul helps him get a top-five placing here.
4th. Jenson Button, 68 points. Finished third in the first three races at Yas Marina Circuit, and his fifth place in 2014 earned him 20 points. The 2009 world champion retired from the sport after the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix. AFP
3rd. Nico Rosberg, 78 points. Abu Dhabi will always be a special place for Rosberg as his second place in 2016 earned him the world title. It also proved to be his last race in the sport before he retired. He won the 2015 race and also was third in 2013. AFP Photo
2nd. Sebastian Vettel, 125 points. Vettel was a dominant force in the early years of the race in Abu Dhabi. He won three of the first five races there, and claimed the 2010 world title under the Yas Marina floodlights. Has been third the past two seasons with Ferrari. AFP Photo
1st. Lewis Hamilton, 160 points. The statistics speak for themselves with the five-time champion. Three wins, and three second places highlight the fact the Briton has always been a force in the UAE capital. AFP Photo
There has been plenty of action and drama in the past nine stagings of the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
But which drivers have been the most successful?
Sports editor Graham Caygill has gone through the records to look at each race and work out the top 10 drivers in the event's history in terms of points scored.
In 2009 the top eight scored points, with 10 points for a win, with the system going 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. The rules were revamped in 2010 to make it 25 for the victor and the top 10 getting rewarded. It was broken down to 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1.
