Dubai know their fate to remain in the Pro League is in their own hands tonight, although they may have to secure a point or more against Al Jazira at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi to guarantee it, rather than await the outcome of results elsewhere.

Dubai, in 10th place, have a three-point cushion over relegation rivals Emirates, who host Al Wahda in tonight's final round of matches. However, a defeat for Dubai and a victory for Emirates would move the Ras Al Khaimah club level on points with Dubai and relegate Ayman Al Ramadyin's side in the process by way of Emirates' better results in head-to-head ties.

"We can only do our best to win at least a point from our game so we don't have to depend on the result of another game," said Al Ramadyin, the Dubai coach.

"The good thing is that we have two chances while Emirates have only one. It is not easy to win against Jazira but we are going with the objective of a win. This is the biggest game for us."

Caio Junior, the Jazira coach, is keen to end the season with a victory after his side lost their previous three league games.

"Our intentions are very clear and that's to win," the Brazilian said. "It is an important game for Dubai but the result is equally important for us, for our own record."

Caio Junior is expected to field his strongest available line-up with Ricardo Oliveira, the Brazilian forward, and Matias Delgado, the Argentine midfielder, likely to play.

However, both Ibrahim Diaky and Lucas Neill will miss out, having picked up injuries during the defeat to Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia in the penalty shoot-out defeat last week in the Asian Champions League.

An added incentive to secure three points for Jazira will be to make sure capital rivals Al Wahda have no chance of leapfrogging them into fourth place.
