ABU DHABI // Al Dhafra have been a thorn in Al Wahda's side this season, but the Pro League's 'Knights' face a struggle to stay out of the danger zone when they travel to Abu Dhabi for tonight's clash. Dhafra are just three points above the relegation zone with six games to play. Wahda, who have won just one point from their last three meetings with Dhafra, will want to break that hoodoo, but also restore some pride after their only hope of a trophy this season was dashed by Al Ain in the Etisalat Cup final two weeks ago.
Al Nasr, meanwhile, are still looking for their first home win when they entertain the defending champions Al Shabab in today's other match (KO 5.55pm). A point separates them in the middle of the table, and Nasr's German coach Frank Pageldorf is aiming to end a frustrating home record, while his Brazilian counterpart Toninho Cerezo will use the game as preparation for Tuesday's Asian Champions League home encounter with the Saudi club Al Ettifaq.
