Davies heads Bolton to victory

Kevin Davies headed home a Matt Taylor corner three minutes from time as Bolton saw off a superb Spurs comeback. Sebastien Puygrenier had headed Bolton ahead from a Mark Davies free-kick in the 31st minute. Kevin Davies then placed a Gary Cahill flick-on into the top corner on 64 minutes. But Pascal Chimbonda, on his second debut for Spurs, cut the ball back on 73 minutes for Darren Bent to tap in. Two minutes later, Bent powered home after Jussi Jaaskelainen parried Wilson Palacios' shot before Davies struck late on.
