It will be a bittersweet week for cricket fans in the UAE. Amid the disappointment following the cancellation of next month's UAE T20x, enthusiasts will have the T10 League to look forward to, as this one-of-a-kind tournament gets under way in Sharjah on Wednesday.

In the latest edition of The Cricket Pod, hosts Chitrabhanu Kadalayil and Paul Radley speak to UAE national team coach Dougie Brown, who is assistant coach of the Maratha Arabians franchise, on how he is preparing his players for a competition and format that are still so new to everybody involved.
