The Cricket World Cup 2019 begins on Thursday and the tournament got the British royal seal of approval on Wednesday as Queen Elizabeth II met the 10 captains of the teams competing at Buckingham Palace in London.
India's Virat Kohli, England's Eoin Morgan, Australia's Aaron Finch as well as the other seven skippers all got to spend time and talk with the monarch.
Prince Harry was also in attendance and also spoke to the players during the meet-and-greet event.
A tweet from the royal family's Twitter account said: "Captains including @Eoin16 and @imVkohli met Her Majesty and His Royal Highness before joining a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace."
The tournament gets underway on Thursday with the opening game being between England and South Africa at the Oval in London.
