Abu Dhabi T10: Kieron Pollard back in action plus Tuesday's fixtures, start times and standings
West Indies batsman Kieron Pollard must hope the adrenaline doesn't wear off with Deccan Gladiators back in Abu Dhabi T10 action again today
West Indies batsman Kieron Pollard must hope the adrenaline doesn't wear off with Deccan Gladiators back in Abu Dhabi T10 action today.
The giant Jamaican's unbeaten 45 helped his side to a five-wicket win over Karnataka Tuskers on Monday, less than 24 hours after he had taken part in a T20 against Afghanistan in India.
Jet lag was clearly no factor after flying the 2,700 kilometres from northern India and Deccan will hope there is still plenty left in reserve as they take on Qalandars in the 3.30pm match at Zayed Cricket Stadium.
The second match (5.45pm) sees Delhi Bulls up against defending champions Northern Warriors.
Kusal Perera made 43 off 18 balls for the Bulls but it was only enough to set up a tie against Bangla Tigers after a thrilling finale in Monday night's final match.
It was the second halved match out of the 12 that have been staged so far in the competition.
Today's final match pits Bangla Tigers against Team Abu Dhabi at 8pm.
Team Abu Dhabi were on the receiving end of a Chris Lynn batting masterclass in their 24-run defeat, with the Australian falling nine runs shy of the first professional T10 century.
You can see images of Lynn's 91 – including seven sixes and nine fours – in the photo gallery above.
