A British School Al Khubairat (BSAK) invitation cricket side rounded off a busy April schedule with a victory over Rugby School, a visiting team from England.
BSAK won the match at Emirates Palace hotel by five wickets after they chased down 208. BSAK's team was strengthened with the inclusion of Valentin Jurgens and he impressed by taking two for 30 and then making an unbeaten 60 while Luc Jones made 70.
This season BSAK have also hosted matches against King's School Canterbury, Stowe School, and Whitgift School, all from the UK, and the Netherlands Under 14 national side.
BSAK offer a sports scholarship programme for talented sixth-form cricket, rugby, football and netball players. This is a new innovation in Abu Dhabi and will provide a pathway to excellence for aspiring young talent in the Emirate.
