Bruno Metsu, the Al Wasl coach, says his side's next two matches will provide the real test of their title credentials.

The Frenchman has been pleased by Wasl's strong start to the season as the club remain unbeaten despite facing opponents of high calibre in Al Wahda, Al Nasr and Al Ahli.

However, even though Metsu applauded the winning mentality of his players, the experienced coach is keen to see how they react later this month when competing against Ajman and Al Dhafra, teams Wasl will be expected to beat.

"We've played three strong teams, but what is important now is the next game," he said.

"If we play with the same commitment and desire to win then we'll be OK.

"This is time to see our mentality because against strong opponents the team is always ready.

"Now let's see how we approach Ajman and Dhafra. Then we'll know if we have a good team or normal team."
