Are Australia too dominant?

Australia's defeats of England and New Zealand in the Rugby League World Cup shows that only one team can win the competition. The Australians were always strong favourites to win the competition for a tenth time, but having already defeated their main rivals with ease it seems that the tournament is going through the motions ahead of the final on Nov 22. It has made a mockery of how the tournament has been drawn out with now England and the Kiwis having so few matches left to find form ahead of the final. Has this been the fault of the tournament organisers that the competition feels flat? Or is this another case of the sport failing on an international level? Have your say.
