Al Shaab 1, Al Jazira 2
Ricardo Oliveira scored in added time to give Al Jazira a victory at Al Shaab. Ahmad Essa gave the home side a lead in the 18th minute; they held it until the 81st minute, when the Jazira defender Abdullah Mousa scored from in front of the goal. Oliveira’s winner came after Ali Mabkhout’s shot was blocked.
Ajman 3, Baniyas 4
A woeful first-half performance left Ajman with too much to do to claw back Baniyas in the second 45 minutes. Luis Farina, Carlos Munoz (2), pictured, and Yousef Jaber were on target for the visitors with Boris Kabi, Abdullah Ahmed and Simon Feindouno replying in the second half.
