Zero Gravity beach club in Dubai is hosting a clean-up on Sunday, September 1. Volunteers are invited to gather from 7.30am at the beach behind the club, to head out to  pick up litter along the sand.

The initiative has been organised under the beach club's We Love Our Beach programme, which runs monthly clean-ups for the public to take part in.

Volunteers will walk along the length of JBR Beach, joined by the Zero Gravity team, picking up any small pieces of rubbish that have been left behind.

As a thank you to the green-hearted team, Zero Gravity will have breakfast, coffee and infused water waiting for them on their return. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable bottle to stay hydrated while they walk.

This is not the only green scheme the beach club is currently running. It has eliminated single-use plastic straws, stirrers, cutlery and plates, and replaced them with biodegradable alternatives in the club.
