Timez5

Timez5 has developed the world's first physiological prayer mat, a five-layer rug designed to support posture and alleviate pressure on your joints. The top layer is made of microfibre, which serves as a cool and hygienic surface to rest on. The layers below include an absorption pad, adaptive weight transfer grid and a motion counter resistance sheet with a microgram coating on the bottom to prevent slipping.

Cruciani crocheted bracelets

The cashmere specialist Cruciani is renowned for its crocheted bracelets - particularly the four-leaf clover version. In celebration of the Holy Month, the Italian label is producing a Hand of Fatima design in 20 different colours. The motif represents luck, protection from the evil eye and good health. Wear several of the macramé lace pieces for an instant bohemian edge, especially when paired with a flowy kaftan - perfect for Ramadan in the summer.

CeeCode bag

Nothing says you're ready for Ramadan like declaring it on a hot pink bag. The statement bag from CeeCode is a great way to add some easy style to a simple T-shirt and jeans. The long strap is also practical for draping across the body, which is the coolest way to wear your bag at the moment. With its flashes of neon, you're sure to get many envious stares.

Lush henna

Henna is a tricky thing to get right: no one wants to end up with a bright orange head of hair after a little experimentation. That's where Lush comes in, with their chemical-free henna bars that look good enough to eat. Available in four shades: rouge (full-on red), marron (brown with a slight red tint), brun (chocolate brown) and noir (glossy black-red), the colours show up differently depending on hair colour: the lighter your hair, the more colour it'll absorb.

Arabic sushi

Japanese food might not be the first thing on your mind when it's time to break your fast, but it if comes in a Middle Eastern flavour, you might want to reconsider. The executive chef at DIFC's Ritz Carlton has applied a Middle Eastern touch to create Arabic sushi. The difference is in the filling, with chicken shawarma, falafel, beetroot and tabbouleh on the menu. With three years in Japan under the chef's belt, be sure to give these a try.

Giorgio Armani chocolates

The latest entree into couture cuisine comes from Milan, where the Italian designer Giorgio Armani has launched a refined line of chocolates in tribute to the Holy Month: an exquisite dark chocolate praline, completely alcohol-free, made of honey and dried fruit with a soft cardamom and saffron cream filling. Of course, style and elegance is everything to Armani. And that's why the pralines not only taste delicious but look stunning as well. Inspired by Islamic art motifs, the luxurious desserts are incised with stylised, open lotus flowers, the distinctive Armani "A" and come wrapped in a box, sealed with a silk ribbon printed with the words Ramadan Kareem and Eid Mubarak. The line of chocolates will be available until the end of August.

Ÿ Emporio Armani Caffe, Mall of the Emirates, Armani/Dubai Caffe at The Dubai Mall, Armani Hotel at Burj Khalifa, Dubai. From Dh25 for a single chocolate up to Dh490 for a box of 72.
