After a successful inaugural outing in January, Yas Fitness Festival is set to return for another run of free fitness sessions at Gateway Park South on November 16 and 17.

Whether you’re a newbie or a fitness addict, there’s something for everyone at the event. There will be group fitness classes from Primal gym, an outdoor gym, a boot camp obstacle course and an area for sports activities including a climbing wall.

Those with kids can bring them along to enjoy the Splash n Party Kids Zone, which will include arts, crafts and face-painting.

The event will also have a trio of fitness ambassadors on hand: holistic health specialist and fitness competitor Jelena Petelinkar, Kuwaiti CrossFit athlete and coach Haya Alsharhan, and body composition specialists Jeremy Gwyer.

A healthy living pavilion will host food trucks, sports apparel and health foods, while the Slim & Lite Healthy Cooking Challenge also makes a return. Participants can compete to make quick and healthy meals while expert nutritionists will be around to answer any questions.

Last year's event saw more than 7,000 participants.

For those who want to attend, register at www.fitfest.ae. Yas Fitness Festival will take place on November 16 and 17, from 11am to 8pm. The event is free and open to all ages.
