Looking to change up your fitness routine? Fairmont the Palm in Dubai has introduced a new class to its schedule of fitness classes, which currently include high intensity training, yoga and Aquaspin.

The State of One weekly meditation class is a 45 minute class dedicated to strengthening mindfulness and "exploring inner space for joy, harmony and peace" through breathing techniques, meditation and sound therapy. The first class will start on August 1 and will be held every Tuesday at 8pm.

All classes are Dh75, with a package of 10 classes available for Dh500. The other classes included in the pass include:

Aquaspin: A 45-minute class that uses a spin bike submerged under water to ease joints and muscles while also burning calories and improving cardio vascular strength. The class is offered daily with sessions at 7am, 8am and 6.45pm.

PRAMA, by Pavigym: A 45 minute class that uses lights, sound and sensors to offer a functional training workout. It's a high-intensity, circuit-based workout that focuses on improving muscle memory, endurance, strength, balance, speed, agility and overall fitness. The class is offered daily with sessions at 9am, 11am and 6.30pm.
