Cyclebar Dubai is hosting a charity sweat-a-thon in association with animal rescue organisation Sniff (Strays Needing Interim or Furever friends) on January 27. The event will be led by fitness influencer Brett Richard Fitness.
Riders can raise money by getting friends, family and colleagues to sponsor each kilometre they achieve on their ride, with a minimum sponsorship fee of Dh10 per km.
There is a registration fee of Dh50 for the two-hour ride, and if cyclists want to partner up or create a team (of a maximum four people) to relay and cycle further, the registration fee stays the same, as long as all participants ride for the same sponsor.
CycleBar is offering prizes for first, second and third place, for the most kilometres achieved on the day. As well as an exciting charity spin session, there will also be some yummy post-workout snacks and goodie bags for participants.
All funds raised during the ride will be donated to Sniff, which is dedicated to helping stray and abandoned animals. To date, the voluntary group has rescued more than 5,000 animals across the UAE.
Doors open at 4pm with the class starting at 4.30pm until 6.30pm. Registration fee is Dh50. To sign up, email your details to info@cyclebar.ae
