A new fitness programme from Australia, credited for keeping the likes of Hugh Jackman and Nicole Richie in shape, is set to launch in Dubai this Friday.

F45, or Functional 45, a 45-minute training routine that applies the high intensity interval training (HIIT) technique for a full body strength, resistance and cardio workout, will open its first studio in the UAE, in Trident Grand Residence, Dubai Marina.

Founder and Sydney-based celebrity coach, Luke Istomen, created a functional training routine, with the help of athletes, that includes exercises which target the entire neuromuscular system. At present, Istomen has studios in Australia, Europe and the United States, all of which offer approximately 15 programmes that feature more than 1,000 different exercises.

The new Dubai studio will have cardio and muscle-conditioning sessions, three days a week, with the other two days dedicated to strength classes. The challenging workout, which is scaled according to the participant’s fitness level, can burn more than 750 calories.

The studio will offer two free sessions on September 30 at 9am and 10.15am. To sign up, visit f45training.ae/dubaimarina/
