Versace is going all out for its spring/summer 2018 advertising campaign. Drawing on the many iconic designs - and faces - linked to the label, Versace approached famed photographer Steven Meisel to create a series of images starring of the likes of Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen, Natalia Vodianova, Rachel Zimmerman and Irina Shayk, alongside the new names blowing up the modelling world, including Gigi Hadid, Cara Taylor, Kaia Gerber and Noah Luis Brown (the lone male model), all decked out in head-to-toe Versace.
2018 is a momentous year for the brand, as it marks not one but two milestones. Next year is Versace's 40th anniversary; it launched in Milan in 1978. For any label to last this long is remarkable in itself, but it's all the more memorable for Versace as it also had to deal with the sudden death of founder Gianni Versace, who was murdered 20 years ago in Miami, at which time little sister Donatella took over the reins.
In what must be a bittersweet occasion for the Versace family, Meisel has managed to shoot a stunning series of images that best capture the glory of both the siblings and the brand.
