Internet

Internet connections are generally more expensive than packages available in countries such as the US, Canada and the UK, so be prepared to pay more.

To get connected to the internet, you must visit one of the internet provider business centres. There, you must provide a passport copy and visa page copy, along with the building name, flat number and plot number, if applicable.
As the address system in Abu Dhabi and most of the UAE is in its infancy, it's probably a good idea to take your tenancy agreement or any bill you may have with your address already printed.

Both etisalat and du offer a wide variety of broadband home and roaming packages including Wi-Fi and Al Shamil broadband.
Wi-Fi hotspots are located in popular public areas and parks throughout the UAE.
