Emirates will resume passenger flights to the Polish capital, Warsaw, in September.

From Friday, September 4, it will operate a twice-weekly service to the city, increasing to three flights a week from Wednesday, October 7.

The resumption of the route will expand Emirates's current network to 75 cities in September. It will be the 25th European city the Dubai airline is offering flights to.

The route will be operated via a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft offering seats in First, Business and Economy class. Flight EK179 to Warsaw will depart Dubai at 8.10am on Fridays and Sundays, and the return flight EK180 will depart Warsaw at 3pm local time. An additional flight service on Wednesdays will be added from October.

The carrier has been gradually restoring its network, working closely with international and local authorities to resume passenger operations to meet travel demand. It has introduced a number of new health and safety measures to protect customers, crew and communities.

All travellers on Emirates flights will be given complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes. Face masks must be worn throughout the duration of every flight.
