Cultural Connection at Al Ain Palace [PIC]
The Al Ain Palace Museum will host a programme called Cultural Connection, which focuses on performing arts from around the world. Traditional dances from the UAE, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, Russia, India and China, as well as from regions of Africa will be performed on Thursday and Friday, November 21 and 22. These include the centuries-old Emirati dances Al Azi and Al Ayyala, which have been included in the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Adnoc Abu Dhabi marathon 2019 [PIC]
The 2019 Adnoc Abu Dhabi marathon is set to take place on Friday, December 6. While it may be too late to get in shape for the full 42.2 kilometres, you can still register for the 10km, 5km or 2.5km runs, or simply plan to go down and cheer the runners on. The start line will be located in front of the Adnoc HQ Tower on Corniche Road. Free training sessions are taking place at various locations, including Umm Al Emarat Park (ladies only), Zayed Sports City and Al Hudayriat Island until Wednesday, November 27.

Postcard series at Roberto’s Abu Dhabi
Roberto’s Abu Dhabi is hosting its Postcard Series with Chef Giuseppe Barbero on Thursday, November 21. The chef will be focusing on all things truffle, serving up a five-course set menu with dishes from the Italian city of Alba, known as the white truffle capital of the world. The menu includes beef tartare with white truffle, grilled veal tenderloin, cauliflower and truffle and white chocolate mousse dessert that incorporates the luxury ingredient. A grape pairing option is available for an extra Dh250.

Kayaking in Reem Island
Watersports company Sea Hawk has launched a new kiosk at Reem Central Park on Abu Dhabi’s Reem Island, which is offering people the chance to kayak and paddleboard around the island’s mangroves. One and two-hour rentals are available for single and double kayaks, and standup paddleboard rentals start from Dh60.

Muller and Makaroff
World music duo Muller and Makaroff are set to come to Abu Dhabi with their latest project, the Plaza Francia Orchestra. The songs are inspired by the steep Argentinian dance tradition of Las Tipicas, which is a form of the Argentian tango. Expect a fresh and modern take of a traditional and much loved art form.

Take to the trails in Fujairah
