The Fridge Concert Series wraps up with a performance by Chilean singer-songwriter and guitarist Vicente Allende and Friends, featuring a showcase of music from the album Nuestro Amanecer. Expect to hear original compositions in an eclectic mix of Latin ballads with rhumba and flamenco grooves.

Cinema Space presents a screening of the 2008 Kiyoshi Kurosawa film Tokyo Sonata, a portrait of a seemingly ordinary Japanese family, but in which the husband keeps a secret from his wife and his sons. He has lost his job, but leaves the house every day, determined to find work to support not only his family, but also a friend who relies on him. The film is in Japanese with English subtitles and stars Teruyuki Kagawa, Kyoko Koizumi, Yu Koyanagi and Kai Inowaki.

Ras Al Khaimah
Get tickets to attend Vivaldianno – City of Mirrors, which will be performed on Jebal Jais, the country’s tallest peak. At 1,600 metres above sea level, the live performance will feature a large orchestra on a specially constructed mountain stage and will fuse the Baroque masterpieces of Antonio Vivaldi with 3-D visual effects and light shows.

The Snowman, based on the Jo Nesbø novel, stars Michael Fassbender as detective Harry Hole, who investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman on the first snowfall of the season. With the help of a new detective recruit, Harry must piece together clues from decades-old cases to get to the bottom of this mystery, and before the next snowfall hits.
