The Fridge Concert Series kicks off tonight with a performance by Philippe El Hage, above, featuring Rawad Alahmadeyah. El Hage, a mastermind on piano, presents compositions that reflect his influences: jazz, classical and oriental music. He is accompanied by percussionist Alahmadeyah in a dynamic performance of original works.

Catch a screening of the film Out of the Past, presented by Cinema Space. The newly restored 1947 film noir directed by Jacques Tourneur stars Robert Mitchum as Jeff, a petrol-station owner in a small town in California. When some shady characters from his past show up looking for him, it sets into motion a chain of events that leads him to reuniting with a woman from his past. London street artist Marco Polo presents a solo exhibition, Wanted Dead or Alive, featuring graffiti-style artworks using bright colours. The exhibition, which runs until mid-November, kicks off tonight at Coya Dubai Members’ Club with a meet and greet with the artist, and includes a live mural-painting session on Wednesday at Coya Abu Dhabi.

Swiss Art Gate UAE presents Equus & Folium by Venezuelan artist Bernardo Nieves and Italian artist Daniela Carletti.
