Take part in the Yas Family Fitness Festival and join in free classes, attend talks and try some healthy foods. Try yoga, Zumba, BodyAttack, BodyPump and children’s activities including gymnastics and Kids’ Zumba. There will be visits from fitness ambassadors, a strongman challenge, MMA ring sessions, an obstacle course, climbing wall, cooking challenges, an outdoor gym, nutritionist advice, arts and crafts, face painting and more.

Book tickets for Angélique Kidjo’s Remain in Light outdoor concert at NYU Abu Dhabi. The Grammy-winning artist makes her UAE debut with a re-imagination of the Talking Heads’ 1980 album Remain in Light with African guitars, layered backing vocals and the American band Antibalas Horns. Songs include Crosseyed and Painless, Once In a Lifetime and Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On).

Take part in tomorrow’s Cycle for Health UAE, which includes a 1.9-kilometre ride around the National Stadium and nearby roads at Zayed Sports City. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will conduct health screenings, exercise information sessions, learn-to-ride programme for children and adults as well as heart-healthy cooking demonstrations. There will be complimentary bicycles and helmets available, bouncy castles, a healthy food truck and more. The event runs on the last Saturday of every month.

Salt food truck brings its Enjoy the Great Outdoors campaign to two locations this weekend. Visit Salt at Umm Al Emarat Park and take part in arts and crafts with Orange Wheels, plus face-painting, games, prizes and more. The Salt Airstream at Kite Beach will host Kharsha, the Emirati-Japanese cultural group for a 1,000 cranes of peace origami activity.

Quoz Arts Fest is a celebration of arts and culture featuring activities that focus on performance and movement in all forms. Families can enjoy performances, art exhibitions, workshops, tours, film screenings, food options and culinary concepts, live music and more. The festival is a pedestrian-only event. Pets are welcome and shuttles are available from the metro stop at Noor Bank station.

Hordur: Between the Worlds is a German film, with English subtitles, about Aylin, a German-Turkish teenager who develops a relationship with a wild Icelandic horse in this story of self-discovery. One-Eyed Jacks is a 1961 film directed by and starring Marlon Brando as Rio, a band robber who has gone on the run only to discover that his former partner, who betrayed him, is now the mayor of Monterey, California, leading Rio to consider revenge.
