See Words Are Rain That Grow Flowers II, a group calligraphy exhibition by contemporary artists in the classical Arabic art form. The exhibition features a variety of styles, techniques and media, including avant-garde geometric abstraction and calligraphy-based sculptures. Catch a screening of the film Point of No Return, a documentary on the round-the-world flight by fuel-free aircraft Solar Impulse 2, which started and finished its journey in Abu Dhabi. The first solar-powered flight around the world is shown from the perspective of the pilots who achieved the seemingly impossible. The screening will include a talk by guest speakers, co-pilot Thierry Plojoux and former crew member Hassan Al Redaini.

Party in the Park returns to Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, with headliner former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher. Net Worth is a joint exhibition at XVA Gallery. In That Obscure Object - Redefined by Arezu, the audience experiences expressions of frustration and defiance by the artist, through her attempt to redefine the meaning of “object” in reference to the female form, using the media of collage. My Magical Garden by Sarvenaz Farsian is a series of abstract works on paper – net-like creations achieved through meticulous pen work and intricate cut-outs, reflecting the instinct and passion of the artist.
