Mohammed Abdo will perform tonight as part of a series of citywide celebrations in Dubai for Eid Al Adha. Known as The Artist of Arabs, the prominent Khaleeji singer has hits including Bent Alnoor, Al Amakin and Lana Allah.

The Laughter Factory returns this month with the Evil Genius Tour, featuring British shock comic Jojo Smith going head-to-head with two of the top acts in the stand-up world, John Moloney (pictured) and Jeff Innocent. Register online now to take part in this year’s free, seven-week Get Driver Fit fitness programme, as part of the Yasalam festivities in the run-up to the grand prix. Classes take place at venues across the city, including Yas Island, Umm Al Emarat Park, Zayed Sports City and Khalifa City and include HIIT, boxing, Zumba, circuit training, yoga and more, offering residents the chance to gear up for a healthier lifestyle. Additionally, participants can start their fitness journey with a 3-D body scan and attend bi-weekly seminars on nutrition and motivation.

Get tickets to attend the Abu Dhabi debut performance of Maysoon Zayid, the Palestinian-American stand-up comedian and disability advocate who performs a show in Arabic, sharing wit about her family, global culture and her life with cerebral palsy. Zayid is a co-founder of the New York Arab American Comedy Festival and appeared in the Adam Sandler film You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.

The Trip is a 2010 film starring Steve Coogan, who is asked by The Observer to tour the England’s finest restaurants, but after his girlfriend backs out, he must take along Rob Brydon, who offers endless aggravation. The Trip to Italy stars the same actors, four years later, eating meals in Tuscany, Rome, Amalfi and Capri.
