Attend the Dal Al Zain Festival, which features an outdoor village with live entertainment, children’s shows, craft stalls, a retail zone, a glowing garden maze and culinary selections from kiosks and food trucks. This weekend, Balqees Fathi will perform on Friday and Majid Al Mohandis on Saturday.

In the Making, an exhibition curated for the Design Museum by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, shows more than 20 objects mid-manufacture, putting the aesthetic of the unfinished in the spotlight. Items include tennis balls, banknotes, coins, diamonds and a cricket bat. The exhibition celebrates the beauty of the production processes of everyday objects, before they assume their final, recognisable form.

Sign up to take part in a mandala active meditation class, which is led by reiki and sound therapist Lina Jarad at Bodytree Studio. The energetic meditation session has four stages, beginning with a focus on centring by creating a circle of energy, then ends with relaxation in the fourth stage. Splash ‘N’ Party presents a winter camp for children that runs weekly, and features activities including archery, etiquette classes, aquatic Zumba, science lab, little chef, table tennis, basketball, football, boxing, and much more.
